I can't believe Christmas is already over. I couldn't wait for it to get here, and then it came and went way too fast.
Christmas Eve we went to church for the children's program. The kids (most of them anyway) did a great job (especially all of my cousins). I told Joe that in three or four years, our little one would be up there singing (or trying to). The little kids are always my favorite. They are just so cute. They sing really loud and are more worried about waving to relatives than doing the hand motions to the songs. After the program we headed over to Grammy's for the annual Christmas gathering. Always very crowded, but very fun. The kids ran around the house, we ate, listened to Matt's Christmas CD, took pictures, ate some more, and opened tons of presents. The baby even got presents from (Great) Aunt Stephanie. A cute music box/wipe holder, and a red Christmas blanket that says "Santa's Little Helper". Very Cute! Joe and I got alot of stuff too. We left there about 11:30 and headed home to rest up for a very busy next day.
Christmas morning we got up and headed to mom's house. We opened presents and ate breakfast casserole (yummy). I got a mirror for my bathroom and scrapbooking stuff. Joe got a back scratcher (he always needs his back scratched) and cologne. We also got a pannini press from my mom. I can't wait to use it! It is going to make delicious panninis!!!!
After mom's house, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's. Again, a very full house! Everyone was there this year. Everyone opened gifts and then we did the gift exchange. I got an atomic clock, and Joe got some kind of tool, and a giftcard to Academy (to add to his already large collection of Academy giftcards).
After Grandma and Grandpa's we headed to Joe's parents. We opened gifts there and ate lunch. After that, we were exhausted. Earlier in the week we had planned on going to the movies, but went home instead, because we were worn out. When we got home, we put up most of our presents and then relaxed the rest of the night. It was a very busy two days, and I know next year will be even busier and crazier with a five month old.

Enjoyed our visit last night. The string test is an old but its fun. The newness of being preg will wear off. But that first time you hold the baby it will be like nothing you have experienced before. With Amanda the first year felt like she was a borrowed baby. In reality they are borrowed, we are stewards over our children for God. And Joe, 2 hands 2 feet 10 fingers and toes and health is all that counts. I know we all have our desires of boy or girl. Even Hailey does. In the end (or rather the beginning after birth) the miracle is so AWESOME!
