Kylie's 2nd Halloween
Kylie dressed up as a ladybug for Halloween. It was her second Halloween, but her first Halloween to go trick or treating. She had a blast. We went with our neighbors. Kylie and the neighbor's daughter, Cameron, rode together in the wagon. They had so much fun. Cameron would make a funny face or sound and Kylie would start laughing so hard.
We first walked around our neighborhood and then headed over to a neighborhood in Hewitt. Kylie and Cameron held their pumpkins the entire night. They did not want to let them out of their sight. They liked switching candy back and forth between their buckets. We walked quite a long way, and we were all exhausted by the time we got back to our vehicles. We got over really late, and of course Kylie went to sleep as soon as her head hit her crib mattress. She was so tired, that she slept until 9:15 this morning. That is probably the latest she has ever slept. Kylie can't wait to dig in her bucket for a candy treat after lunch!!

Kylie's First Pony Ride
This past Friday, we took Kylie to the fair. It was her second time to go, but the last time she went she was only a few months old. This time she was able to enjoy it. She sat in her stroller the entire time and loved to see all of the lights and people. We went with our friends who live across the street, and their cousin. We had a blast. We walked around the entire fair just looking at everything. We looked at the cows, we "window" shopped at the booths, and looked at all of the rides that the guys were too scared to ride on.
Kylie was the only one who rode any rides. She rode a pony for the first time. She LOVED it! Joe walked around the pony ride with her and she was smiling the entire time. He said we he first put her on the saddle she seemed at little uneasy, but as soon as they strapped her she started to smile. She would have taken a longer ride if they let her. After the pony ride, Joe took Kylie in the petting zoo. She didn't want anything to do with those animals. She held on to Joe the entire time. We spent the rest of our time at the fair at the big screen next to the mechanical bull. We stood and watched some of the Ranger/Yankee game for a little while, and then headed home.

The picture below is of her on her pony ride. Even though it is blurry because I took it with my cellphone (because I didn't think to take the camera), you can still see her big smile.

Cute Pictures
Also an update to my last post. Kylie is now a walker. She took her first steps the day she turned 15 months old. She only took a few, but she is getting better. Once she figures it out she will be running in no time. Hard to believe how big she is!!!

Almost There
We almost have a walker. Kylie now holds one of my fingers and walks, but if I let go she drops to the ground and crawls. We are almost there!! She doesn't walk very far, but anything is good progress. She can pull up to everything so it should be any day now.
My poor baby had her second ear infection. Thankfully it was only one ear this time. We got her antibiotics and some other ear medicine, and she is doing much better. Strange thing is that she didn't even act sick once she got to the doctor's office. I guess she figured if she acted fine, she wouldn't have to get a shot...hehe. After only two and a half days on the medicine she is back to her hyper self. It was nice to have her cuddle with me when she felt bad, but I am glad she is back to being her happy and energetic self.

Messy!!!
Kylie had her first experience with real spaghetti the other night. She has only been eating the baby food kind and loves it so we thought she might like the real thing. We only gave her a few noodles, and she did pretty good. She kind of had a hard time getting the noodles to stay in her mouth, but after a while she got the hang of it. After the few noodles we gave her the baby food kind and let her eat with her hands. That was first. She had a blast eating with her hands and making a mess!!!! Her hand, face, and belly were red from all of the sauce.
Spaghetti for dinner means a second bath for Kylie Jo.Love that messy face!!!

Growing Up
Kylie is growing so fast. It is hard to believe that she is already 13 1/2 months old.
Kylie's Latest Accomplishments:
Kylie's Latest Accomplishments:
- Signs the word "More" when she wants more of something to eat/drink
- She now has 9 teeth. I found the 9th tooth today while she was eating a snack.
- When you say "Arms Up" she does it
- Points to what she wants and says "uh" which I guess it her word for "I want"
- Stands up by herself when she is playing on our bed/or any other big bed. She doesn't do it much on the floor I guess because it is not as soft. Can we say "spoiled"...just kidding.
- Has been riding in a forward facing carseat since last month and she loves it.
- Turns the satellite for the tv on and off and knows which button to push to do it
- She still uses a sippy cup, but now she likes to drinks from a regular cup (kind of messy, but we learned to only put a little liquid in it)
- Vanilla Wafers (she could eat them any time of the day if we let her)
- Eating anything off Mommy and Daddy's plate even when she just ate
- She likes avocados just like mommy and mac and cheese (the real stuff not the baby food kind)
- Mommy and Daddy's sunglasses (she takes them off our head and puts them on her)
- Reading books
- Buttons of any kind
- Her stuffed kitty cat that rides in the car with her
- Looking at pictures of herself on Mommy's cellphone (she hands me the phone and says "uh")
- Waving and smiling at everybody she meets
- Going to YaYa's house to play with YaYa and Uncle Ryan
- Making a mess of toys in the living room (We call her "Hurricane Kylie" after she is done playing)
